Alors que le d\u00e9cret officiel du 27 avril 1848 relative \u00e0 l&rsquo;abolition de l\u2019esclavage tarde \u00e0 arriver depuis Paris, les esclaves se sont lev\u00e9s, ont bris\u00e9 leurs cha\u00eenes et ont arrach\u00e9 leur libert\u00e9 par la r\u00e9volte.<br \/><strong>Le 22 mai 1848, l\u2019abolition est proclam\u00e9e en Martinique.
